Afrigen is the project to create the basic locales needed for software localization in 100 African languages by Martin Benjamin. Today, in agreement, we decided to also add the set of basic locales to Ambaradan and have further languages localized in Ambaradan.
Consistent terminology used throughout various software packages is one of the first steps to care about when considering to add a new language version to any software. This is the basics from where to start from.
The languages to be edited on the Ambaradan side can be really any and we will develop the project step by step. Of course we can also insert the Afrigen data for completeness, but we now must find a way to make clear that the list of Afrigen languages will be maintained on its main project pages and the contents you eventually will find in Ambaradan is considered to be a mirror.
So this is the moment to search for a nice project name :-)
And yes, we are really happy about this co-operation.
