When three educational projects get together

What happens when you get a great distro, good software and good contents together when it comes to education? Potentially something really strong.

openSUSE Education have one of the best educational suites on the market and with some KDE Education projects we have very powerful tools where data can be created easily outside the applications themselves. Vox Humanitatis specialises in data management and all members have a multilingual background connected to less resourced languages.

Educational contents, in particular for less resourced cultures need to be created. They must be fast to create, easy to translate and most of all easy to use in more than just one application or operating system.

Therefore in various online-meetings today we, that is openSUSE Education, KDE Education and Vox Humanitatis, agreed that we are going to work together creating sound educational packages in as many languages as possible.

Of course we cannot give you an exact time scale, because all of us are working as volunteers, but we do have the same goal: Free Education For All

Many people already joined us and help by packaging distros, programming software, creating contents from text to multimedia, translating ... come in and join us :-)
